January 31st, 2010 1:23 pm [RL] hiatus kind of? [ ] Yo dudes --just wanted to apologize for not being all there recently. Slow on tags, not really commenting anywhere, not getting any work done on LF apps. I think I'm having a kind of burn out lately; not so much that I don't want to RP (since I do!) but that I can't seem to make myself do it, and every time I open a doc or sign into a journal it just becomes a chore. Plus I've been so alkj;kwelkja about finding a second job, and now about the new schedule for said job (which is the worst case scenario: up at 3 a.m., not home until 5:30-6 p.m. four days a week, unless something changes), that I can't even fathom doing anything but cooking and watching The Tenth Kingdom (for the hundredth time, whatever). I guess the proper word for it is ~malaise.~ I didn't want to say anything until I was sure it wasn't just procrastination (which usually goes away in a couple of days), but this has been nagging at me for a few weeks, and idk what's causing it or how long it's going to last. So! I apologize for dodging IMs and not tagging things, but for right now, I'm just not feeling up to much of it. Also, I will probs need a hiatus anyway to adjust to crazytime work hours, so I guess this is just pre-emptively...striking? Whatever. Hopefully I'll be adjusted by the time LF opens :/ 4
