O hai, I am trying to catch up with old memes. Particularly this one, as I only answered one, AND I REALLY LIKE DOING THEM. I'll post them up in separate entries/batches, and then link to you in the comments you left, so don't be alarmed if you get months-old responses in your inbox.

ALSO BECAUSE IT IS A GOOD WRITING EXERCISE, and Lord knows I need it, here it is again for all my ~~new friends~~:

Tag with a character of yours (past or present), a character of mine, and a picture of one of the two (or the two together, if that's an option). I will turn it into a Polaroid, and write a drabble about the circumstances!

Also, also: post to follow either tonight or tomorrow on my Xover roster -- what the characters have been doing in the interim, and the new characters I'm bringing in. FOR PLOTTING PURPOSES.

IT IS NOT DISNEYLAND. We have already visited the most wondrous land of Walter Disney twice in our winter vacation, and I worry friend Regina will grow weary of riding the small flying metal elephants, so I concede to her wish to attend the Studios of the Universe. There are less tiny Quinn like people in this place, wishing to put me into their photographic devices, but I am still taller than many of the so-called "heroes" the "themed park" has hired to wander and mingle amongst the natives, and people point as I walk past. PERHAPS IT IS MERELY SIGUR'S PRESENCE???? It was a battle to acquire a ticket for him, as they apparently do not allow horses, even the most GLORIOUS STEEDS of valkyries, into the park, but he kicked one of the foolish ticket takers in the ear and now they do not oppose me. HA HA, foolish humans.

It is strange being in the place, when I have lived in the lands of heroes for so long. The men and women in costume here do not have special abilities, and they stare, wide-eyed in their small, wrinkled human faces. I do not mind. Regina Planttalker is with me, and she is taking many photographs of strange and wondrous manmade creations I do not understand, and this is enough for a daytime outing. I feel her grabbing my "tee-shirt" (which is uncomfortably and very strange under my armor) and suddenly we are near the Spider Man, who I have seen in the Movies.

"Hildr, go stand by him, I want a picture!" Regina Planttalker says to me, pushing me forward. I do not move.

"There are children, Regina Planttalker." I look at them uncertainly. They are near my knees, staring up with small toothless mouths dropped. One runs to her mother. The Spider Man abruptly stops posing.

"Shit," he says. "You're huge."

"I am a valkyrie," I say, and glare. I turn to make a remark to friend Regina of the stupidity of mortals, but she has the Polaroid Camera in front of her face, and there is a little sheet of paper coming out of the front. Sigur is hovering a few feet above her shoulder, rolling in the air with horse laughter, and I hurl the Spider Man at him.
