HELLO I AM LATE TO THE MEMEPARTY. I actually have yet to use that polaroid thingy, so the photos themselves will probably suck. BUT as RPlandia is pretty quiet for those of us not apping Neopolis, I NEED SOMETHING TO DO. No guarantee these won't all suck balls, as per usual.

Tag with a character of yours (past or present), a character of mine, and a picture of one of the two (or the two together, if that's an option). I will turn it into a Polaroid, and write a drabble about the circumstances!

These will inevitably get posted in a separate post, because it'll take hella long to write them, with my track record.

In xover news, I am so fucking close to finishing Brad and Rachel I CAN TASTE IT.

In other other news, now that my roster is shockingly clear, I may actually be able to finish those Jess and Azazel (and poss. Sylvie) apps I never got around to. Which is good! I'm sticking to my cut/drop list. GO ME. 8D

WOW I CHURNED THAT FUCKER RIGHT THE HELL OUT SO YOU GET IT IN A COMMENT RATHER THAN A POST. Also, writing in Jess' narrative!voice is weird.

I'm thinking and he takes a picture. No surprise really – the first part. I'm always thinking. No surprise on the second, either. He likes weird things, mimosas at 9 a.m. and nesquik and sad-eyed girls. “Emerson,” I say, but he doesn't listen. The picture's developing from that old camera and he's faking like it's the most interesting thing in the goddamn world. A blurry grey mass that'll be my face in a few minutes, scowling out at him. I don't know why he wants that, why he couldn't try to catch me off-guard, playing with Matty or something. Nava has photos of me she thinks I don't know about. I don't know why he just doesn't take those, either. “Not supposed to shake 'em,” I say, but he keeps doing it anyway, wandering over to exchange the camera for his chocolate milk, holding the picture in front of his face on the way back. “Emerson,” I say again. “Emerson, come on, just toss the fucking thing, Christ.” But he sits next to me and holds it out, examines it. “Jesus, Jess, you ever smile?” he says, and runs a thumb along the edge of the photo. “It's blue,” I say. “It's artistic,” he says, but he's not being serious, and then, “We could give it to the good doctor.” “He sees me enough,” which I don't think is what I really mean. “Yeah,” is all he says back. Then he's quiet, and I can see how it would be if things were different.

OMG ERIN, YOU MAKE ME MISS IRMA-ERIN TIMES! ... although I totally do not remember Erin's PB. :'(

First of all, so disappointed that Halle Berry could not be a Trance PB for this image alone. It is a very handy angle, ok. But oh my god, every image of Dania and Ellen from the X-Men 3 premiers and stuff have them ON THE EXACT OPPOSITE END OF THE PICTURE and it's v. frustrating. That being said, I choose you, Pikachu.

	I attempted to do this with Mike → Jess, but my attempt to find a semi-candid-looking picture of high-school-aged Portman has terminated in such hilarious fail. Not because she wasn't around or famous, but because the nineties were such a horrible time for celeb photography. I am not sure what other combination to use, though! Authors' choice? Hahaha, this appears to be actually high-school aged but doesn't have the, you know, dark red lipstick / EXTREME WASHINGY-OUT CONTRAST of nineties photography. It was quite the quest, let m tell you. Portman appears to have learned sex-me eyes at an alarmingly young age and it's difficult to find pictures of her without them. So she isn't wearing pants, but at least she is glowering.
