I am supposed to be memorizing parts of the Bible, but lol no. I really like all these personal/RL memes going around, though! It's nice to learn~~ about the people I write with. :D

I actually registered this back at GJ on a whim, because when I was still MU* RPing and was using Anna Mouglalis as a PB (not as Marie, which is SO WEIRD FOR ME to look back on), I wanted to get at nuit's, then snezana, icons of her, and I wasn't really thinking of it as a long-term thing. The name actually comes from my first LJ RP, where I played--I kid you not--Lucifer. He had an obsession with Hugh Jackman, liked to light people on fire, and periodically summon hell beasts. Every entry started with "Dear Dad," and ngl, I sort of loved playing him. I'll probably change it soon though, if only because I hate underscores in my usernames.
- My name is _____ because ______: "being idle is for whores and politicians." This is a quote by pronto. My display name changes all the time; most recently it was "OH SHIT, I'M XERXES, JAM ON," which is from speedforce and has to do with 300 and Michael Jackson, though idr what. Before that, I think, it was "WHO WANTS TO SEND A MESSAGE TO HOGWARTS?" which is from nuit and has to do with one of my old characters and Inglourious Basterds (obviously). My display name is usually funny quotes from various chats, now that I think about it.
- My journal is titled ____ because ____: "Alfred, you're beautiful!" With the subtitle of "I made your crazy ass some delicious french onion soup." This is a combination of connie meta-ing Alfred, and Batman. I need to do a big journal revamp, though, so it'll eventually change!
- My default userpic is ____ because ____: An exceptionally angry and moustachioed cookie, made by chthonian. I'm seriously leaning towards changing it to Til Schweiger wielding a teddy bear, but I can't give up the cookie. ;__;

Just so you guys know, there is some ~rl~ stuff going on right now with my family that is kind of heavy -- it's nothing I need to pull a Madagascar and lock down everything for, but it's sort of gnawing away at the back of my head. If I don't respond to something or seem weird on AIM, that is probably why! Plus it's finals time, as everyone knows, so I might just drift off sometimes to go work/sleep. Probably sleep.

Point one: Rhiana made me an icon.
Point two: I have about 20+ pages of term papers due over the next week and a half, plus a few miscellaneous assignments I've stupidly left until the end of term and studying for finals, so I will (at least attempt to) be sort of scarce until around the 11th or so! I think that's when my last thing is due, idk. Fuck keeping track of dates. BUT I will be working on apps and Theo things in the meantime, even if I'm not around on AIM or to comment much. I AM SO READY TO GRADUATE, JFC.

HELLO FELLOWS. So, Sheena, Maddie, Shawna and I have been thinking: what fleets needs more of is blatant rip-offs of military television shows. Our television show of choice? NCIS, motherlovers. Right now we have versions of Tony, Gibbs, Ziva, and Abby on the docket; I know a few people are apping forensic people of some kind, so we will probably hit you up for a Ducky. Or you should hit us up. Or something. There will be hitting. We still need a McGee, and maybe a Palmer and/or director of some kind idkkkk. ANYWAY, lovedbythesun, a_chroi, and ikhan, you should put up stuff about your characters here. And plot things.
HERE IS THE BASIC RUNDOWN OF MINE: He is still in the works, but I know that he is currently not military--he's some kind of intelligence officer, though I have to figure out which branch of the government. He'll probably be with the NSA/CSS, and be a specialist in languages, codes, cryptology, and FILING. But that all might change; he is sort of on the backburner at present. What I do know about him is that he's a stickler for protocol and a firm believer in the power of paperwork and accuracy--bitches, you will be signing all forms in triplicate forever. He was born outside the US and English isn't his first language, so while he's aces at breaking codes, he occasionally fucks up basic colloquialisms and words, and please do not ask him about current internet slang. "What is 'lulz'?" This will be an IC question.
edit. Unrelated, but I've decided Joss/Ryan Gosling PB's callsign is going to be Brawny. As in paper towels. Because he is known for wearing red flannel and cleaning shit.

A couple things! First, a meme:
Comment below and I will tell you which of your characters that I've played against are my favorites and why I love them. The reasons will probably be like HERP DERP THEY MAKE ME LOL because I suck at these, but whatever.
Second! So I know the people who are apping girls in the Angel squadron (or girls who will be in the Angel squadron) have been chatting across posts, but I thought it'd be fun/wise if we started sort of hashing out their dynamic! At least for the girls already in the squadron -- how they act with each other, power dynamics, how they act with the other squadrons/pilots/soldiers/etc. So far I know Dee/Ricochet is the leader and Carver/Blitz gets her rocks off heckling the other pilots, BUT WHAT ELSE. Give me deets.
Third! I have at least one more character coming up for Dread but I'm still working her out (and I know I will have a fourth because it's me) so I apologize in advance for future spam.
