LOL MY COMPUTER WON'T START? It was working completely fine this morning; I put it to hibernate and took it to work; when I open it up at the library 9 hours later, IT IS DEAD. No signal, no start up errors, nothing. It won't turn on at all, and like, my entire effing life is on that thing. I don't even I've finished paying it off.

Also all the games files are on there, for the most part, which is AWESOME. The only explanation I can think of is that I left it in my car all day (in a bag, in the shade, with the sun guards on, on a coolish day), but I've done that before and nothing has happened? And good fucking lord, it's not like I left it to bake in the sun. AUGH KILL ME

Luckily I get paid, either today or Tuesday, so hopefully I can just take it into Best Buy and they can go "oh lol, press this button." Or it'll magically turn on tonight at home. Idk. STRESS MODE: ON.

EDIT: OKAY I got it to turn on -- there's apparently (hopefully) something wrong with the battery, so this is a tentative SYSTEMS SORT OF GO. I'm still taking it in this weekend to have it looked at and transferring all my files just in case, but at least I'll be around tonight? Cross your fingers this doesn't escalate into a "lol the computer blew up" thing. 8|

Uh, everyone cross your fingers my school's loopholes work in my favor and I get $1200 dropped in my lap this week → I can get internet installed ASAP.

...And then, you know, still avoid the internet in favor of reading/playing video games. But at least the option will be there.
